Christy Gravely

 grew up in San Antonio, Texas, playing the flute and singing since the age of 9. After high school she auditioned for and joined the US Marine Corps Band, which took her to  Japan, New Orleans, and cities all over the U.S. where she performed with the rock and country bands that entertained thousands of Americans,  Japanese citizens, and overseas military. In New Orleans she began playing the rhythm guitar and has been writing songs and accompanying her own country voice ever since in local bands, including Jon Beaumont and Stonecreek, Crosswind, and  Blaine Eaddy and the Texas Hot Rod Band.

Christy has performed at venues such as Porky's Bar in Azle, TX, San Martino Winery in Rockwall, TX, and festivals including Main Street Days in Grapevine, TX, and coffeehouses and annual Fort Worth songwriters/Lone Star Music Association annual events in the area.

 

  Nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year by Lone Star Music Association in 2002
